Mission Statement

The mission of the Vienna Moose Activities Committee is to make a positive difference in our lodge by curating and hosting exciting and innovative activities for the lodge where all personalities are involved.

The primary duty of the Activities committee is to ask all members what types of activities they would want to participate in.  The committee should hold regular meetings and the chairperson should meet with the board of officers at least once per month to report on the various activity ideas that have been suggested to the committee.

It is important to note that is not the responsibility of the activity committee to plan and execute all activities.  The committee’s primary function is to develop and share ideas for activities based on suggestions from the committee members and the membership at large.  It is the membership that should be the ones that execute what activities they wish to pursue.

The board of officers thanks all its activity committee members for their help in making this lodge vibrant and exciting.  A strong activities program is one of the keys to building successful Moose Centers as we continue far into the 21st century.  These programs also illustrate that we value our member’s interests.
